When Herhershay amusement park in Hershey, Pennsylvania, closed its gates for good on Friday.
The Hershey News reports the park had been in operation for nearly 50 years and had operated for almost four decades.
The park had recently been rebranded as Herhersdorf and was now known as Herghersdorp.
The Hershey Post reported that the amusement park was the last remaining amusement park with a full-size ride, including an indoor roller coaster, a water slide and a boat ride.
It was built in 1955 by Hershey’s parent company, Bethlehem Steel, and opened in 1957 by Bethlehem Steel.
